Metrology & Quality Control Lab
Objective of Metrology and Quality Control Lab is to select appropriate instruments for specific measurement. Analyze and interpret the data obtained from the different measurement processes. And present it in the graphical form, statistical form. Construct and draw the control charts. Understand ISO certification procedure and quality system.
CAD-CAM Lab
CAD/CAM Laboratory is basically used for CAD/CAM softawares like Pro-E, Ansys, Mastercam. Pro-E is used for geometric modeling and drafting. ANSYS is a finite element analysis tool for structural analysis. Mastercam is a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software program used to generate computer numerical control (CNC) programmes for various lathe and milling operations.
Dynamics of Machinery
Dynamics of Machinery Laboratory is fully equipped with traditional and advanced Equipment such as Universal vibration Test rig, Gyroscope, Whirling of shaft and Balancing Machine to satisfy the technical needs and university curriculum of students.
Engineering Metallurgy lab
Metallurgical Analysis can be a valuable source of information to any industry working with metals. The engineers in Laboratory Testing Inc.’s metallurgical analysis laboratory can examine samples to detect surface and internal flaws, determine microstructural features, evaluate heat treatments and ensure conformance to required specifications. Root cause failure analysis can also be performed when performance issues occur with metal products.Metallurgical analysis is performed by engineering students using a wide range of microscopic and macroscopic examination methods, microhardness testing and state-of-the-art equipment.
Heat Transfer Laboratory
The Heat Transfer laboratory consists of 10 experimental set up, including Student fabricated projects. This lab course is primarily being offered to the III Year B.E. Mechanical Engineering Students to make them understand the principles of Heat Transfer i.e. conduction, convection, Radiation, boiling and Condensation modes of heat transfer.
Internal Combustion Engine Lab
The I.C.Engine laboratory consists of 5 experimental set up, excluding Student fabricated projects. In this lab many UG projects are done. Many external students have taken advantage of this lab for their research activities. This lab course is primarily being offered to the II Year B.E. Mechanical Engineering Students
Mechatronics Lab
Lab is engaged with Mechatronics Practicals for third year students. Lab consits of penumatic trainer kit, DAC system, level measure trainer kit, Load cell, optical encoder etc.
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lab
In the lab display of various important parts of refrigeration are displayed along with their information including working, manufacture etc
Theory of Machines Lab
The subject Theory of Machines is defined as that branch of Engineering-science, which deals with the study of relative motion between the various parts of a machine, and forces which act on them. The knowledge of this subject is very essential for an engineer in designing the various parts of a machine. The objective of lab is To impart practical knowledge on design and analysis of mechanisms for the specified type of motion in a machine. Through this course, students will abale to understand machine kinematics ,transmission element , governors, gyroscopes, Epicyclic Gear train and Gear Boxes Major Experimental Setups in Laboratory
Turbo Machines Lab
The Turbo Machines laboratory consists of modern experimental facilities for basic and applied research work in Rotadynamic Machines that adds or consumes energy. It provides the facilities where students can learn basic concepts and principles of Turbo Machines through hands on experimentation on different equipments.
Work Shop
Workshop is fully equipped with traditional and advanced Machines such as Belt and pulley driven manual and automatic lathe machines, Universal Milling machines, different types of grinders. Separate CNC section is available to impart knowledge about programmable atomization and flexible manufacturing system. Basic manufacturing sections such as carpentry, fitting welding, plumbing, black smithy are located in workshop.
